Scholarships That Open Doors

The Weekley Legacy Project provides scholarships to graduating seniors from Kalamazoo Central High School, Loy Norrix High School, Phoenix High School, and Kalamazoo Innovative Learning Program. Our mission is to reduce financial barriers, uplift student potential, and help build a stronger future for Kalamazoo—one scholar at a time.

  • The Weekley Legacy Project is a community-rooted nonprofit focused on supporting graduating seniors across Kalamazoo Public Schools. Through scholarships and mentorship, we help students break financial barriers and step into their future prepared and empowered.

  • We combine scholarships with mentorship and community partnerships to create lasting impact. By working directly with Kalamazoo Public Schools and maintaining a fair, transparent selection process, we support seniors as they transition into college, trade school, military service, or the workforce.

  • The Weekley Legacy Project partners with Kalamazoo Public Schools and its high school/programs’ communities to support graduating seniors through scholarship opportunities and educational encouragement. By staying closely connected to the schools we serve, we help ensure our programs remain accessible, fair, and focused on student success.

    Schools we serve include:

    • Kalamazoo Central High School

    • Loy Norrix High School

    • Phoenix High School

    • Kalamazoo Innovative Learning Program (KILP)

    • KPS Virtual Program
